Motorclassica 2018 – Melbourne

Motorclassica 2018 - Melbourne

The Australian International Concours d’Elegance is the main event dedicated exclusively to all motorsport enthusiasts in the southern hemisphere, where rare, historic and valuable cars and motorcycles are on display. Held within the walls of the iconic Royal Exhibition Building, the competition brings together more than 150 cars and motorcycles from across Australia and beyond in a unique exhibition that is unique in the world. Inside, up to 80 exhibitors showcase their products and offer driving tests at the Classic Motor Show, while the historic hall also houses a selection of large on-screen motorsport films, special guests, pop-up shops, a series of seminars and Australia’s largest and most anticipated collector’s car auction, presented by Mossgreen. More than just a car show or a club, it’s Australia’s true four-day classic motorsport festival, capturing the imagination of a city with a wide variety of events and many attractions.

The gathering of the giants.

Motorclassica begins Thursday morning with the Tour Classica, a short road rally through the Melbourne CBD en route to the Royal Exhibition Building. This marks the first opportunity for the public to see the stable of pristine vehicles that make up the Contest each year. Over the weekend, Club Sandwich, presented by Lorbek Luxury Cars, brings together over 40 food-truck-obsessed clubs in Melbourne in a festival on Museum Plaza with the Pommery Champagne Lounge, which offers the opportunity to relax and enjoy some world-class bubbles adjacent to the Royal Exhibition Building. It is valid for 1 year from the date of your approval.
